St. Ignatius of Antioch partners and volunteers joined Room in the Inn to feed both the body and soul, offering a place where the unhoused men can be served and waited upon, receive hospitality and experience community. We were more than honored to serve the general and residential populations of 240 men with a homemade “Meat Loaf Luncheon meal” that included corn, cream potatoes with gravy, green beans, sweet roll, fresh squeeze lemonade and our famous banana pudding.

The Council of Catholic Women in Alcoa, TN honored the fathers and priests of its parish on Father's Day, by thanking them for their dedication and service to their family and parish at the Saturday and Sunday's Masses, on June 20 & June 21, 2026. On Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 a.m., the Women of Distinction Mass and Luncheon was held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield. Representing the five deaneries across the Diocese, 88 women were honored and received a certificate of recognition from Bishop Thomas John Paprocki in celebration of their outstanding service and dedication.
