Our Lady of Fatima (Alcoa, TN)

On December 4, 2023, The Council of Catholic Women at Our Lady of Fatima, Alcoa, TN, hosted an Advent by Candlelight service for all members of the parish. It began with a musical prelude, the reading of the 4 Sunday Gospels of Advent, a reflection of each Gospel by Fr. Pete Iorio (spiritual advisor) and concluded with The Benediction. The evening was set in a peaceful candlelight setting.

The Council of Catholic Women in Alcoa, TN honored the fathers and priests of its parish on Father's Day, by thanking them for their dedication and service to their family and parish at the Saturday and Sunday's Masses, on June 20 & June 21, 2026. In addition, OLOF CCW contributed to the Seminarian/Vocations Fund and Retired Priests' Fund of Knoxville, TN in their honor. Happy Father's Day from OLOF CCW!

Springfield-IL DCCW - (Springfield, IL)

On Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 a.m., the Women of Distinction Mass and Luncheon was held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield. Representing the five deaneries across the Diocese, 88 women were honored and received a certificate of recognition from Bishop Thomas John Paprocki in celebration of their outstanding service and dedication.
